The MIT Office of Minority Education (OME) Laureates and Leaders Program has been established to identify and prepare a select group of undergraduate students for doctoral study through mentoring, information on the graduate school process, active participation in research and financial assistance. The program accepts approximately twenty five students per year in their sophomore year.
